I second homer2.... Possibly a oxygen sensor is bad and tis dumping the fuel into the motor?

Did the car seem different or act funny?

Were you... driving over 5k rims the entire time? Mustangs around?

Yeah that is definitely not normal. You'll want to have your dealer look into that.

I was in a Christmas Parade a couple of weekends ago, got a whooping 4.1 mpg in my V6 over the 2.5 mile parade route.

yep, about right if you are running the 1/4 mile in WOT. Now if you are getting that driving through your neighborhood, then you may want to fill it up, reset everything and try again before taking to Dealer.

I got 7.6 mpg in my ss yesterday due to a clamp coming undone on my rotofab and the intake tube popping out. Went back up after I put it back together

Unfortunately, driving a camaro like you're supposed to is a war against wishing immediate death on most other motorists on the road.

Riding the brake through turns.
Coming to a complete stop before making a turn on a green light.
Driving at any speed below the speed limit.
Merging onto highways at 40mph.
hypermiling stop lights.
changing lanes without blinkers.
Leaving space in front of their cars so they can be cut off by other people and then have to hit their brakes so they have the same space in front of them again so it can happen again because they're on their goddamn phones and need that reaction time buffer because they're distracted.

ARgghghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh . I've had to resort to listening to stand up comedy on google music to reduce the rage of driving behind people who got their driving license from Mr. Magoo.

I'm usually in the mid teens on my mileage unless i am taking a trip down a highway.

Have you been remote starting your car to let it cool down or warm up? I'm sure my average is horrible, but I've been remote starting it every morning to let the interior warm up.

You may need to turn the screen on. Most if not all of the info screens can be enabled/disabled in settings and people who test-drove the car before you may have played with it and disabled what should be normally enabled.

Well mine was an order and picked it up the day it came in, so nobody touched the car before me...had 4 miles when I picked it up. Is it a seperate screen, or something you have to toggle through (if that made sense)
