Before my current job I made carpet for the 2016 Honda Civic. Wouldn't trust those btw, a lot of people in my plant didn't take the job seriously

Prior collision repair technician & mechanic for many years. Currently an independent appraiser for auto, heavy equipment, motorcycle, and specialty units within the insurance industry and legal system for the past 7yrs.

shoot, I forgot to mention the 2 years I spent at collage for mechanical engineering.

Before I joined the Ironworkers.

My boss asked me once, "How long did it take you to learn this?"
I replied, "I knew it all in my first year."
He was all happy.
"Then in my my second year I realized I didn't know anything."
He didn't know how to react to that.

IQ and job description don't need to match. I have personally known people with quite high IQs that can't follow directions for chewing gum.

Retired. Worked for GM as the Manufacturing Integration Manager for the 5th gen Camaro. A very fun job. Currently I am enjoying retirement and working on cars.

Went to school to be a Master Chef. Wound up driving 18 wheeler 49 states for 38 years. Driving 4 1/2 million miles accident free. Retired 12 1/2 years ago at 59.

Senior maintenance and repair technition for an automotive supplier that also does some work for the United States government. One of my favorite pictures in our maintenance office has a picture of an elephant stuffed head first into a boiler with the caption that says,
