Probably still in jail for tax evasion. He did sell a lot of TV during the late 70’s. His commercials were very funny. Almost as funny as the super-glue commercials. You can still youtube them.

Guys,

Anyone hear status lately on their order? I got a call from my buddy at the dealership today to give me an update, he told me that my SS was one state over in Arkansas

He said he called their transport company and told them to put a rush on the car when it hits the rail yard lot here in town.

He said if all goes well we could see the car by end of week.

Well yesterday it was still 4B00, but today the owner calls me and says well guess what was just unloaded? Yep the car is at the dealership PDI tomorrow and close the deal on Thursday.

That is hard to believe, I've ordered a few cars in the last 7 or 8 years that were built in Michigan and they always came in by rail to Memphis. That includes my 2011 Camaro

My internet sales guys at Fremont Chevrolet, Clark Saxberg, (great guy to deal with by the way) pointed out to me on the paperwork he sent me that the expected delivery date is...................12/21/2016.

He said it could be a few days either way. Counting the days

Anyone out there with a 12/05/16 TPW ZL1 receive theirs yet??

Dealer called yesterday saying my car was in made appointment to pick it up, called a hour later to say my wheels and bow ties have not come in. He said i couldn't have it until it was complete.

Have it by Monday hopefully

I'll join the club when I can get a a base 1SS with stick for about $33k, until then I will keep driving my 2011 Camaro.

My Red/Kalahari 2SS arrived at the dealer on Wednesday, and was ready to be picked up today. Then the ice thing happened, with people being flown to shock/trauma, gas trucks exploding and I 95 being shut down. I'm trading in my 2009 C6 so no way was I going to drive the 25 miles to Gaithersburg Maryland to pick up the car. I'm off on vacation Monday so pick up will have to wait until the day after Christmas. The suspense is building and hopefully I'll catch a break and be able to drive it home on clear roads with no salt. Hoonose??? Merry Christmas or happy holidays to all you 12/5 folks. CE
