Runs were made in - 1,300 DA as per the online calculator. My hand held Kestrel reads 400ft higher at this track always. So -900 to -1,300. Not that it really matters. My IAT's also started at 68* and only went down to 55* by the end of the run. Not exactly cold air getting to the motor. So don't put a whole lot of credence into the weather. I have seen plenty of guys not run any faster in more than -500.

Has anyone seen a dyno graph from an unturned MSD? That is a serious question. All the ones I have seen are tuned. I am not impressed with the tq curve at all. It does carry power past my manifold but at no place does it surpass my gains and gets crushed by mine till about 5,200. I have not personally back to backed the MSD and my manifold but I will. I will as usual post the honest results. I port both so it doesn't matter to me which one you pick.

I have repeated my gains with my ported IM/TB and RF twice now. So they are real on a tuned car. The biggest difference in the last test on the M6 car with a cat back was 12rw. I also have backed up my hp gains with track times. Non mine shaft air track times on the stock rubber. Has anyone gone quicker than me on stock rubber, I think not. Not even close. Has anyone gone quicker or faster than me on DR's, I think not. Anyone close to a 1.577 60ft, nope. Is there more in this combo, absolutely. What is the fastest MSD bolt on car right now, 118? I am not talking about quick, just raw speed.

E85 is a great fuel but even for me is hard to find. I have tuned this car from day one and am still tuning it now. But I needed help getting the E85 turned on and set up correctly. Enter EFI Tuning. I turned to the best and so should you. Tim took my current tune and added what I needed for the E85. I got it back and continued to tweek it as I saw fit to go as fast as we could. There is no need to go anywhere else now. Tim has the tunes and the knowledge backed my hard dyno data and videod drag passes. Let's not forget that my car started as one of the slowest on here. I don't think I would have even been in the top 20 bone stock. Don't waste your time other places. He knows what's up and we know ho to make you faster than me.

Sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings but after a while the air needs to be cleared.

EFI Tuning would be who I go with for the E85 set up and final tune of the car. I would have the bulk of the work done locally as I'm in Delaware. The ported throttle body and stock manifold is what I would go with. I don't like the MSD either because of the loss on the low end plus it looks like crap IMO. So the main mods would be the ported throttle body and stock manifold, GM Hot Cam and Heads kit, and E85 and final tuning by EFI Tuning.

Do you have to hook your car up to a dyno smog machine ? If it's just a visual get long tubes with cats.

add ported intake and I think you have a known winner. I like my msd btw, I have to fab holders for the engine covers...

op if you are going to go with shorty headers you are just wasting money. Keep your $ and leave the manifolds if you don't wanna go long tubes. I went with a full build on mine (which is taking forever and a day) but went full catless long tube headers and 3 inch exhaust. If you are going to go, go all the way. Also don't know what your goals are but there are much better head and cam packages from Vengence, Brian tooley, Lingenfelter, etc. Op do some more research and think it over a bit, You might be short changing yourself out of some ponies.

OP, listen to Pray he is giving you the scoop. If ARH LTs with tune only gives you 15 RWHP then shorties might at best give 1/3 of that with a tune or less. Save your $$.

Maybe DA helped some, but a big part of Prays times is due to he can drive. Check out his 60'. Seat time is one of the best mods, it is fun and almost free.

Also I agree the MSD is not so good on an A8, but on an M6 with a 6,800 rev limiter it is not so bad although it scares me a bit. And E85 can then fatten up that curve some. Looking forward to see what a ported MSD can do.

Looks like crap?
