315 tire?
Will a 315 tire fit on an 11" MRR m228 wheel in the rear? From what I've read everyone seems to be running a 305.

You'll have to trim your carpet. Also it depends on the tire. You need to look at tread width on tire rack. Some mpss tires have as much as an inch in difference between the same tire size.
Example... 295-35-20 mpss 105y k1 Ferrari has a 12 tread width 295-35-20 mpss 105y Porsche n.o has a 11.3 tread width Same tire, different tread width. |

I'd rather use manufacturer info than go by tire rack. Tire rack does not carry all brands or list all sizes.

Most 305 tires are 12.3" and 315 tires are 12.6". Are the 305s people are running really that close to the liner?

It is also the height. As 305/30 seem to fit great but 305/35 not so much. Factory 1lE is a 305/30/20. I have been researching this as well because I want a 305/35/r20 as I do not want to lower my car to eliminate some of the wheel gap.
