About to pull the trigger on a 17 but....

Hey guys I'm new here my name is dom I'm from Long Island
So I've owned 3 camaros already all IROC and I'm about to lease a 2017 camaro 2ss

So here's the deal sticker was 49800 I'm getting the car for 45000
The lease deal is 580 per month with 6k down for 48 months and the buyout is 20000 at the end

I never leased a new camaro so I'm not sure what the going price is can anyone pitch in here?

So, if I am doing the math, (roughly 600 a month for 50 months) would mean the payments would work out to approximately $30,000.00. Add on the $6000 down payment. So $36000.00 for leasing the car for 4 years.
And if you decided to buy it at the end of the lease, add another $20,000. So $56,000. Thats without any finance charges if you had to finance that $20,000 for the "buy it after the lease" option.

Weren't the 2016 2SS going for around or less than $40000 ? This 2016 yellow one has a $48,900 sticker.....and is marked down to $36720.
Putting a $6000 down payment on that type of figure and OWNING it would make a heckuva lot more sense to me.

What he said. Awesome deal for the dealer. Horrible otherwise.

...remember a lot of these fantastic deals on leftover 16's include incentives and rebates many don't qualify for.

Not sure if this helps, but I'm trying to get rid of my SS with less then 400 miles on it, hyper blue auto, I will pay the less transfer fee.. Payment is 450. Let me know if this is something that may help.. BTW this a GM employee lease.

I leased mine. How much are your taxes? That price does seem high with 6k down. My car stickered for almost 54K. I pay a total of $603 a month and $51 of that goes toward taxes. I got the car for 47k and there will be roughly 19 or 20k due at the end for the buy out if I decided to keep it. I did the 48 month with 10k miles a year
