Car mic?

Does anyone use the bluetooth mic in the car and notice that people on the other end can't hear so well? I hope I'm not the only one if so I'm going to have to march in and get it checked out.

I call my parents daily from it, my mom could never hear me on regular speaker phone, and doesn't have any issues with the in-car mic.

Use it all the time and you can speak pretty soft and it'll still get picked up. No issues here.

I had this problem for a while. Noticed it was because I was talking towards the map lights where my mic used to be in my old car. In our cars it's on the A pillar. Once that clicked I talked toward that and it got better. Downside is tho the person on the other side can hear everything, engine, road noise, etc

My girlfriend always complains about the blinker being so loud.

I have and am going through this issue now. Theyve fixed it temporarily in the past and it is related to wind noise. Look through my post history for more info.

Are you hearing wind noise as well?

I have the same problem unless I'm driving at real slow speeds or stopped. I'm pretty sure it's wind noise like giri said. Is there a dealer fix for this?!!

dealer denies the problem as always. I plan to pull my a pillar one of these days and add some foam sound deadening between the mike and windshield.

Yep - a recent conference call I was asked if I was driving through a shooting gallery.. they could hear the gurgle of my exhaust as it downshifted.
