My Supercharger
Once I get my Heartbeat installed I want to run Meth/Alky injection and want to know which system guys on the forum are using. I've looked at both AEM and Snow Performance. Mike from Magnacharger (toohighpsi) is using the AEM.

Which kit did you buy? The original full kit or the new non-IC kit?

I bought the Non Intercooled kit after talking to Mike (toohighpsi). Obviously I can upgrade at a later date. I plan on running one of the kits to cool the charge into the intake which he thinks will be fine for my application. I don't drive it daily (couple times a week) and drag race it 2 couple times a month. I can run the 5.5 pulley without any alky back up, but if I want to run 6.5 lbs of boost or more I'll have to either intercool it or inject it with a cool charge like Meth injection. I'm limited to what I want to spend since I'm retiring in a couple years and don't want to go overboard as I have dozens of time in the past. I like the AEM system that Mike is running on the Magnacharger car and with the ROTOFAB intake it made 70 hp which is crazy, I'd be happy with 50 additional hp. So, that's my plan and just waiting on the SC to be shipped which should be by Friday and maybe start the install on the following weekend if it works out. My Rotofab will be here Friday so need to make the decision on the Alky/Meth system.

I've also done the overboard thing many times and have decided on a stop point with the E-Force of around 600-625 rwhp (pulley, Roto-Fab, and tune). I've taken the joy out of driving too many vehicles in the past with over-building and don't want to do that with this car. A thought for you: Since you have a non-intercooled PD coming, why not look into adding spray bars where the intercoolers normally go? I think this would give you greater flexibility in adding chemicals post-boost and controlling IATs. I'm not a big fan of chemical injection, having tried it on my Audi TT. But in your case, you may want to think about having two tunes available, one for daily driving without Meth injection and another with Meth at the strip. Many reasons. Julio from Alky Control first of all really knows his stuff. Also his customer service is top notch and has always been available to help however possible. Mainly though, are because his kits are the best and are designed for GM vehicles not just a universal kit. He takes lots of extra steps to make sure his setups are protected to limit failures. Just an example, he sleeves his pumps to help limit pump failure. His kits are built to last for the long haul. If you just set an AEM kit beside his you'd see the quality difference, not to say there's anything wrong with AEM, just Alky is better at least in my opinion.
