I'm thinking at the very least they will have to replace the rocker panels + paint.
I did not see it on the rack and only noticed it the next time I washed the car. Mine did not bend all the way to the wheel well, so we are in different boats. They fixed mine in one day.

FWIW......The name "Camaro" is pretty core to our existence here. If we all agree on one spelling Nazi correction...it's probably that one...

Well, the owner has every right to that request. The dealership has insurance for such things. If perhaps the dealership pushes back contact your own insurance company for other options. It shouldn't cost to have your insurance company intercede on your behalf.

And please don't call it a 'Maro'

Mine is going in the body shop on Monday. I'm giving them a copy of those photos and a diagram of the jacking points. Just in case..........

The problem with this world is stupidity.
I'm not saying there should be penalties for stupidity,
but why don't we just take the warning labels off everything and let the problem solve itself.

I'm not going to throw the dealership under the bus or raise hell. But, I'm curious what you all think.???

p.s. The weather here has been absolutely horrendous - constant rain and fall leaves everywhere so my car is filthy!
Show them this...

I was just thinking about this, video Matt. How can a dealer not know jack points of the cars they specialize in but we know.

Damn!!! Some dealers need to hire better mechanics. These cars are not what they used to be 10 years ago. These care are too advanced for them to hire someone who's not familiar with these machines

I saw your video after I took the photos. Had I known the potential damage I would have photographed all 4 corners and the underside of the car! Wish I had!

I agree.

I am disabled and unfortunately have to live on pain meds most of the time due to injuries I received working the streets of our fine country for 28 years. As a result, I due tend to get things confused from time to time. I generally type things in "word" first, then copy and past them on the forum to avoid as many errors as possible. I will make every effort to confirm the correct spelling of my Camaro in the future.

Now back to our regular scheduled programming

Not to be disrespectful since I don't know what happened to make you disabled. If your injuries occurred while a police officer or serving in the military, I salute you. But I can say that I have an issue with you driving a ZL1 while on pain meds most of the time.

I am glad you live on the opposite side of the country. And maybe you just mis-typed and there is no issue....................
