I need a clear cut answer on if there is an auto trans available on the v6 1le or if there will be one at any time. I originally was under the impression that there won't be but then I saw this car listed at Rodgers as automatic.

After inquiring about it I found out it was actually a manual 6.

So is Auto an option or not? Will there be? Why or why not?
I love the 1le but would never buy a stick.

The release for the 1LE indicates that V6 1LE package is only available on V6 models with the manual transmission.

Probably not, because enthusiasts consider a "track car" something that's manually-shifted for control.
Also, the automatic adds weight.

I know the A10 is faster around the track, but I want the involvement of the M6.

There has never been an auto 1LE and I doubt that will change for the time being....

If you look at the sticker for the car it shows it has a manual transmission. Someone keyed something in wrong to their system or there is a glitch causing it to be displayed as an automatic on the search. As others have said I don't think there are any plans for an automatic 1LE right now.

An automatic was an option on the third and forth gen 1LE's...
