Nitto Invo

Hello,

The Mighty HABU got some new treads today. After looking around at the reviews and needing some all season type tires, I purchased the Nitto Invo Luxury Sport Ultra High Performance Tires to go on my brand new 1LE rims. These are some serious possum mashers. As the tire tech said, they fit but are snug. I also considered the NT05s but chose these because I like the look. Having put about a hundred miles on them today, I can say that the wider rims and wheels feel awesome. I love the way it sticks to the turns and even better, they roll over the concrete craters on Virginia's I-64 (otherwise known interstate weather cracks) with far less flutter as well as being noticeably quieter (these are not run flats however)... Beyond that, the side walls are "amazingly think, perhaps 3/8ths of an inch" said the tire installer. They are thicker than any he has seen and the tires are 'beefy beasts'. I take it that he liked them too.

Kindest,

Donner

Hello,

It's for carrying my bike rack around. Chevy now offers one.

Where did you get the 1LE rims? I'm liking these more every time I see them.

I had Nitto 555's on my GTO and loved them. I think Nitto builds a good tire. Please update us how they do in the wet...

I've run nitto invos on my last three cars, I don't race or track, they wear very well, run good in the wet and are inexpensive, perfect for my use.....

I ordered them through Rick Hendrick Chevrolet in Norfolk (Cody McNabb is the man!) They are also available through places on-line that sell genuine GM parts. This data might be useful.

'17 SS 1LE Front rim size = 20 x 10 (shipping weight 28 pounds)
'17 SS 1LE Rear rim size = 20 x 11 (shipping weight 29 pounds)

GM Part Number = 23355791 – '17 SS 1LE Front Wheels 20 x 10 - $572.40 plus $50.00 core charge

GM Part Number = 23355802 - '17 SS 1LE Rear Wheels 20 x 11 - - $572.40 plus $50.00 core charge

GM Part Number = 23115614 - '17 SS 1LE Wheel Center Cap - $20.99 (x4)

SKU: 13598786
GM Part Number = 13598786 - TPMS Sensor - $45.64 (x4)

I love them.

Kindest,

Nice, thanks for posting up. I plan to go with the NT05 on rear, and putting the NT555G2s I have on OEM rear wheel up front when I pull the trigger on some MMR 1LE wheels. Just trying to get through the winter. May have to put money into some Continental DWS06 tires on the OEM wheels. I plan to have that done anyway, so I can have dedicated winter and summer setups.

Yeah, I don't get why there's a core charge for new wheels???

Is the Might Habu your daily driver?? If so, let me know how the Invo's do, especially now that we're into winter here in the southeast. Considering Invo's or the NT555 G2 just don't know which to go with right now.
