The LT4 in tank pump and the CTS-V pump are the same GM # 23377989 Delco M100183
The tanks are even different between the LT1 and the LT4. I ordered a LT4 pump set to see what the physical difference is between it and a LT1 and if it would fit in a LT1 tank Also found a little info on the Lift pump There are 3 injectors for the LT1 set up High, Nominal, and Low There are 2 injectors for the LT4 set up Nominal and Low |

So which one should be upgraded first?

If you look at this link and click on compatibility it looks like the 2017 Camaro ss might have a ctsv pump. Also the fact that I was able to flow 540+hp worth of e85 and not start to drop pressure yet makes me think it might be true. http://m.oreillyauto.com/h5/r/oap/si...0401&ppt=C0025 I am also curious what will run out first. I think the lt1 injectors will do over 600 on e85 if the low and high pressure pumps hold out. A zl1 has already gone over 600rwhp(e85) on the stock fuel system so if we have that low pressure pump we should also be able to go to 600 on e85. I am thinking the lt1 high pressure pump might be the first problem for a 2017. my plan is to build a aux low pressure fuel system but not turn it on right away and buy the lt4 hp stuff but not install it right away. Once the agp turbo kit shows up I am going to turn it up until some part of the fuel system is maxed. then I will either swap in the lt4 stuff or turn on the aux low pressure pump depending on what ran out. Then keep turning it up. Last edited by parish8; 12-02-2016 at 01:13 PM. |

My only concern with the low pressure pump is that it can supply enough fuel until the Hobbs switch kicks on the aux pump. That is going to be at 2psi of boost and it looks like whatever the stock lp pump I have should be ok to that point. For the aux lp pump I am going to try and copy what was in that video by attaching it to the basket inside the tank. Probably a walbro 274. |
