DIY I meant as in do it yourself. That's the most fun part about new parts. The thrill of the install
Agreed on all. Launch delays are rampant lol. I thought you meant there was some specially-designed plans for a DIY intake you were talking about, lol. We had that on the GP forums a while back, someone figured out one that worked better and made a parts list. I always enjoy DIY stuff though, I didn't know you meant it generally.

RSblueblood, There is always a change when one variable is different. It would likely be negligible sound difference, not anything you could hear on a computer's speakers... but the in person difference could be noticeable. I've got two cars here with the same engine, but one has 4 tips and one has 2, and you can hear a difference but it is so negligible you really have to be in person to hear it.

If you have a 2016+ Camaro with NPP, then you have the option of closing the valves to make it quieter...
If you have a Non-NPP 2016+ Camaro, then you cannot make it quieter because you have no valves... so the sound of the Non-NPP Camaro will be like the NPP Camaro with the valves open all the time.

Does that make sense?

Tis true. 3500-4k is wake up time on most cars.

Man you haven't gotten through break in yet?! You're in for some fun!

Yeah, it's been rough lol. Only 50 more miles in the break-in. And will 50 miles make a difference? No, probably not, but I've exercised restraint thus far. I will finish out the 50 and show myself I can be disciplined lol.

I have to do it with ramps and jack stands, too. I'll post some install pics once received. I thought I was early with this mod on my ride, you might be a little more than I,

LOLOL. It's an Embraer Phenom 300.

Oh you meant the avatar. Beech Staggerwing.

Awesome! What a nice little bonus! Mine arrives tomorrow but already have a little trip planned, hoping to get back a little early and get it on Sunday.

Looks like it's packaged realllly well. I'm looking forward to mine getting here tomorrow.

You'll dig it. The way they packaged it, you could ship a human in the box
