How many cranks does it take to start your car?
Mine is an M6 ss. Normally, on a cold start, it takes an average of about 4/5 cranks before the car starts. I say normally but is that normal at all? I only I ask because i just started my car and this time it started as soon as I pressed the start button, no crank at all. Am I bugging or can I go back to living my life

It's normal with a direct injection engine. It's still strange to me too

On cold start a few seconds for sure. Not a big deal. Kinda gives it that muscle car feel along with everything else once it hits and startles the neighbors.
