I I lol, im trying not to linger around the ship too much lol, this has been stressful actually, I had to overnight the comp cam phaser kit last night from tx speed, they forgot to send it. I had to track down the right kind of clamps for the kooks headers to the cats last night and kooks still has not shipped my order, im thinking of rising down to kooks tommroow and just getting it in person.

did you use a catch can? can you list your miles and a picture of the intake port near the valve in the head?

I will get a better pic of intake manifold tommroow, and i did not use a catch can. I'm at 19,000 miles.

Wow sounds like you haven't had a great time. Mine just keeps getting bumped back a bit by dyno availability and stuff like that. Still hoping for tomorrow or Thursday to pick up.

Being pieced back together, ran into a issue where some special tool is need to remove fuel rail above the heads, he is trying to avoid removing heads again to install some part.

It's really looking like you may win the race. My guy noticed a spot on the heads he wanted to have a second opinion on so he's getting those looked at right now. Still hoping for Thursday though.

It's still alot of working but I'm hoping today. Still need to install electric cutouts and hook up exhaust and finish putting connections back together

any thoughts on how much of a pita it is to do h/c vs a 4th gen?

You're definitely gonna get yours done first now. We hit a snag with the heads and are having a replacement for one overnighted today. Hopefully we'll both have results to compare by next week!
