Yea it would have been nice to have the ones in the Vs. Those have adjustable bolsters.

I'm skinny and I didn't like the new ZL1 seats. They hold you in well but felt very hard compared to 2SS. Maybe they just need to be broken in..
For reference my favorite OEM seats were in a 2012 C63 sedan. |

I will happily trade you the plush seats out of my 2013 for your Recarros.
If you ever track the car you will be very happy with the recarros. I have to fight to keep from sloshing around with my seats. |

I'm 6' 1" 270 and I sat in a ZL1 when I was visiting KY. They were definitely a bit more tighter than I was expecting. Maybe it's time to cut back on the Mt. Dew.

The best seat by far has been the 5th Gen ZL1 and the main reason I didn't get a Z/28.

Mlee, if for any reason you want to get rid of your new Recaros please let me know. I would not want you riding around in a new car with seats that you do not like. I'm sure we can work something out.

I'm 5'10" and weigh around 205 and weight lift five days a week and even though I'm a bit "bulky" I love the seats in my new ZL1; no issues at all here!

I am 5'11" and weight 210lbs
I love the ZL1 seats! If you are in a competition you will be happy that the seats hug you so much! Otherwise you will slide around a bit. My best friend has a 16 SS and I like those seats a lot but I sat in a ZL1 last week and fell in love with the Recaro seats a lot more! I loved it so much that I put an order in for 17 ZL1 A10 in Summit White!! |

Anyone know how the Gen6 Recaro's compare in fit/feel to the Gen5's?

Since when can you order a ZL1 without Recaro seats. That would be a big deal.My 2SS seats are the most comfortable I have ever had in a car of this type. My HC seats are great and actually better but there is no head room. If I can order a ZL1 with regular SS seats that would be great. At 6'7" 250 lbs my problems is head room. Would someone tell e whether the recaros give you more head room. Seems logical for a potential track car where a helmet is required.
