Exhaust gains

I tried search but couldn't find anything. I find that suspicious but I'll ask anyway.

I know I cannot get an exact figure but I'm just looking for as best an estimate as I can get.
What, roughly of course, would the following setup gain considering the car is otherwise stock:
Shorties to stock cats
3inch exhaust all the way from the cats (no muffler, no resonators etc, just 3inch all the way back)

30-35hp and 35-40trq to the wheels sound about right? Or are those to optimistic?

I'm hoping, but could be completely wrong, that with that set up and a Roto-fab that I'll be right around 500hp to the crank.

I'd say you're being pretty optimistic. The headers will help, but the straight pipe will not.

These (Blackheart) gains just advertising?

I haven't seen any dyno proven gains to support blackheart's gains, I for one thought they were very optimistic when I first saw them. However, The blackheart still has mufflers while a 3inch straight pipe won't have any backpressure and would hurt an N/A motor while benefiting a turbo motor.

Hurt down low but gain up top, correct?

Have you seen anything to refute them?

I haven't seen any dyno of the blackheart exhaust period, so I can neither confirm nor deny their claims

It seems like the non NPP cars have the largest gains. So when you see dyno numbers advertised from the manufacturer. There is a good chance they took the lowest non NPP dyno number as a baseline, then added the parts and tuned the car and took the best dyno run they could get. Then they advertise the worst of the worst with the best of the best.

Full headers, high flow cats, and exhaust all the way to the tailpipe will probably get you about 20 rwhp give or take 5hp. Full catback will probably get you nothing. The Borla secondary cat delete midpipe and their axle back may get you 5hp.

Considering the stock exhaust "manifold" is already a tri-y shortie header, I'd doubt there would be a ton of gain from an aftermarket shortie header. Full length headers on these cars with a single high flow cat and cat back exhaust are only seeing 25-35rwhp. So I'd doubt using a shortie header, retaining the factory cats and run 3" straight pipe would match it. As for the back pressure, I'm pretty positive that the factory cats produce well more than enough back pressure, hell one pair of high flow cats would produce plenty of back pressure.

Id save my money and go with full length headers when you are ready to tune. In the meantime get the ported intake & throttle body, CAI, delete the secondary cat, and have a 3" X-pipe exhaust installed. Even without a tune, it looks like these things should be good for around 35-40rwhp.

Are there any sensors after the primary cats?
I currently have my mufflers deleted and think the car sounds great! I figure if I run 3inch from the primary cats back it will probably be significantly louder since I gets rid of the secondaries and resonators? (Might start another thread to see if anyone has done this).

I have seen with my own eyes the Blackheart dyno charts. My car has their headers and exhaust so I will soon find out if the claims are true. I have met the head of Blackheart and their engineer-super awesome dudes who are just car guys like us. Dunno why they would have reason to embellish the numbers
