Yes it would be. A 295-35 would be better. you might need to relocate a wire in the wheel well though if you do a 305-35. Some 305-35's will rub, it depends on the tread width/section width of the 305-35.

I'm torn on the Nitto NT 555 G2 tires. Are they good tires for the money? Yes. Are they excellent street tires? Yes. I bought them to run on the street and track and they are definitely NOT great on the track.

I'll link my post below from late September when I got them. BLUF: Moved up to 285/305 tires and these wouldn't match the performance I got from the ready to be replaced stock tires.

Again, great price on wide street tires? Yes. Want to track them? Buy something else.

How does the Nitto fair with drag racing? They hook up well, heat up well?

MPSS I heard was the best for tracking, even drag racing... But much too expensive.

MPSS not good for track or drag. They are a great daily tire and good for the twisties. They are grippy for the life of the tread.

I think Nitto makes the best streetable DR.

Agreed about nitto and DR's. However...mpss is a great track tire. And the best drag strip tires short of a DR in my opinion are Toyo r888, mpss and Nitto NT05

Nitto nt555r is great for drag racing and they heat up quick.

Update- they are broken in.
Even with just driving just long enough to warm the engine they are warm enough for what I think is their strongest launch. I hit 3.9 and 4.0 7 times in a row launching the car at 2k in competition mode. definitely consistent, not too difficult, and safe.

You do realize that your 0-60 timer is incorrect because of your tire size right? Those numbers are not correct if your going off your timer...sorry. Your computer thinks you're reaching 60 before you actually do.

Yep
Tells me I hitting 60 when I'm at about 59-59.5
I pulled the same numbers on my stock tires, it just took more effort and wasn't as consistent, less margin for error.
