Nice. A bit more bumpy than I thought it would be for a GM product.

I like it.

Did this kit come with everything needed to do the cam swap? Does the torque converter have to be swapped with this kit?

It was a hard choice for me not to do FI, I decided to do NA for the sound, the more usable power on street tires, no I don't think 650 ft lbs at 4000 rpm is all that usable, slight IMO long term dependability. slightly cheaper. Glad I did, sounds great and must be fun on the street.

I would venture to guess this is on the ragged edge of needing a converter. No first hand knowledge.

What other parts were needed to complete the installation?

IF funds allowed, it would be nice to have this kit AND an LT4 blower on top.. I'm really leaning towards the Victor Jr heads when they're released. As well as a Gwatney Performance SS1 cam . Even though those guys are very very tight lipped about their cam profiles, I was able to squeeze abit of info out of Aaron in regards to his SS1 cam.. It's one of those you can't miss cams. Makes power every where so I'm a buyer on this one. Combined with those Victor Jr's, peak rwhp could reach 550 or so like we usually see but mid range torque from these newly designed heads should make for an absolute beast...

Very interested to know what your total cost was after parts, install, tune (including the headers and full exhaust)

In for dyno results! I really want to see the changes in the curve. Since this setup is said to pull to 6800RPM, I think the MSD intake manifold would compliment it nicely.

Me too I am wondering the loss down low. The LT1 Is so great on the street. The MSD took away some of that.

this is stock:

http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=409961

1st to 2nd puts at 6500 puts me at 4250, looks like the hot cam will always be on band, as I'd probably shift at 6800 and that would be about 4500 with the hot cam... right at torque peak and that is a really nice torque curve from 4500 up to 6000. The stock cam is falling like a rock in relation, as an example it still is at 450 ft lbs at 6200 RPM, about 75 ft lbs above the stock cam. LT and MSD is only going to make this even more dramatic.
