Similar to the Hellcat expect the majority of passes to be in the 11:70-12:00 range.
It's new rubber.

man 55 pages of zl1 vs hellcat. there shouldn't be any pages, this thread never should have been posted, because chevy will always beat dodge, even if dodge really is better, i still think chevy is better.

But on a side note, i pick the zl1 over the hell kitty any day, the looks, "overall" performance and not to mention the history of the camaro dates back to the muscle car era jus like the challenger series but the main difference i think the fan base is better too.

I like to have a neutral approch when chiming in on these posts like this, you can type all the numbers you want and talk technical but what when i comes down to it. Do driver's have a better experience with the zl1 or hell kitty......? time will tell

There's a new tire formula and a new E-LSD (E-Diff), it's not apples to apples. Hellcat A8 vs ZL1 A10 both on Stock rubber to stock rubber, I agree that the ZL1 will have consistently slightly lower ET's. Both cars on the same drag radials will be interesting to see. The road course is no contest, faster than the 350r on the road course and keeps up with the fat kitty on the track is more than I thought possible.

Unless those Supercar tires are practically DRs, it won't help much on anything over about 550RWHP. When I get a minute I'll read up on them to see what their specs are.

Why place limitations on tires. To make it an even competition lets put the stickiest tires on both cars and let the cards fall where they may. I like both cars to be sure, they each have a place.

Because either it's stock or not. You can't sell a car with DRs from a manufacturer with them. Otherwise we might as well have an outlaw street 10.5 competition.

You obviously doubt your car can compete on a level playing field. Common sense dictates sticky tires in competition.

You obviously doubt the Hellcat's ability to plant it's power to the ground. Is it because of the decades old chassis design or the under-tiring by lazy Dodge engineers?

Common sense dictates testing cars as they offered, not with what you can goto the aftermarket and buy to "fix" problems inherent to their design. You wouldn't want a 50 shot of nitrous on the ZL1 to "fix" it's shortage of HP would you?
