Blurry HUD display

Went to the dealer to get my HUD repaired...it appears to be out of focus or a double image
Dealer says theres no fix for this at the time. So I basically paid for an option thats usless
My HUD is the first image....the second image is from a 2017 Camaro

How tall are you out of curiosity? There is an issue with the SS Sedan for taller drivers. The ghosting goes away when you scruntch down in your seat. Not saying that's the case with yours, just curious.

Also, there is a fix, the dealer sounds like they just don't want to deal with it. I would be pissed and would demand they replace the unit or something. Check what windshield is in the car. It's possible that the factory accidentally put in a non-HUD windshield into a HUD car.

Take it to a different dealer. There shouldn't be any double image. Mines very sharp.

Worst case they need to swap out your HUD unit.

It's been mentioned before that there could be a protective covering on the projector glass that should have been removed. See if that might be a possibility.

My thought is either the glass on the projector still has the protective packing film on it or the windshield is tinted. I'm actually thinking they put some Air 80 on their front windshield because all the glass is in that photo is showing a lot of artifacts.

Im 5'11"
But I shouldn't have to adjust my seat to see the HUD, thats the whole point for making the HUD adjustable

Did you look at the projector glass and see if the protective covering was left on?

Blurry HUD display

My 16' camaro 2SS hud vibrates on hwy from the bumpy roads & also when listening to music.. I'm waiting to hear of any perm fix before I complain to dealer. What I gathered so far is in order to replace, they have to remove winshield & take dash apart...

I'm sure you've seen the pictures of what people that didn't have Huds in their 5th gens did to install it. Just a reminder:
