Fremont CA - 12K markup!
Fremont Chevrolet just got one. $1300 "processing fee" added to the fake MSRP price. Car listed as $71K MSRP, PLUS $5000 market adjustment for advertised price of $76K.

If someone is stupid enough to pay that, the dealer is smart enough to price it like that.
No reason anyone should ever pay above MSRP on these cars. The new raptors have a 10k markup. Hell, some of the new Ford RS (i think is their name) have massive markups. |

Saw your post so I thought I would go by and check out the car. The sticker price on the car is 66,585. They are asking 5k over sticker. So the asking price is 71k. I didn't see the 1300 dollar processing fee. I did take a pic of the sticker. Will post it when I figure out posting pics from my iPad
By the way, bad ass car. I ordered one very similar just a few more options. They stated MSRP, no markup on the one I ordered. I think the idea is show off the car and attract a few new buyers. And if someone is willing to pay the extra, that's on them. |

Is it possible the 1300 you saw is the gas guzzler charge? The other 1300 I saw on the sticker was for the PDR.

That's nothing. The Ford dealers went crazy with ADM when the GT500 came it and now the GT350. And some are still asking BIG ADM for the GT350.
