My intentions were to get a baseline before making any mods!! I thought I read somewhere that the oiled filter made more power than the dry!!! I ordered from phasteck and it was shipped already !!! Damn!!!

I just installed the rotofab Cai and notice that the fan seems a little louder !! Is that normal ?? Also when you remove the sound tube from the front of the engine do you replace the bolts or put them aside?? Thanks

I kept the bolts with the removed components when I did mine.

Did U notice the sound of the fan more ?? Is it because the engine sound isn't being pumped into the passenger compartment??

I haven't noticed any change in the fan sound myself. There should be no correlation between the Rotofab unit and the fans.

It sounds like a fan maybe just because the air box is open

That was the first ride after changing!! I stopped for a coffee and when I shut the car the fan was still going!! Now I come out and started the car and it's back to normal!!! I guess it's ok then lol!!!
