1LE vs ZL1

I'm debating on which way to go. My goal is to build a forged engine and fit it with an aftermarket blower (either the 2200r setup from my Corvette or F1X). My issue is that I want the 10 speed auto, but don't really need to pay for the LT4 setup since it will be ripped apart. Besides having the full list of comfort features, will the 10speed come to the 1LE and is there anything else missing from it?

10 speed is probably never coming to the 1LE. It's a manual-only, track-enthusiast-oriented package.

This.

Sounds like you might want the 2018 or 2019 1SS. Assuming they put the 10 speed in one of those model years.

If only putting stickier tires on a 2018 2SS a10 with mag ride and NPP makes it faster around the track than a 2018 m6 1LE, then GM will have a problem.

Put the same compound tires on the 1LE (different sizes), and I'm sure it'll maintain the lead.

You raise an interesting point, though...I wonder.......eLSD plays a big part, but would sticky tires overcome that?
