Like I said in the 5th Gen forums...congrats.

IMHO I would not let any near that car...remove the sticker yourself.

Enjoy having all the PTM modes now.....It's another whole experience on the track my friend.

That's my exact plan come spring. I have a '13 Red ZL1 coupe to trade for a '17 A10. Congrats!!!! I remember seeing your old car pop up on the forum when it was new. Time flies!!! How badly did they beat you up on the trade in?

I paid exactly MSRP, but first I had to go through two dealers who didn't want to play ball before I found the third one I could strike a deal with. This is my first time ordering a vehicle to my personal specs, as well as my first new sports car purchase. So I can't speak much to the mark ups on the other models, other than guessing that it was / is just a matter of supply & demand. What I can say is, driving my ZL1 makes me feel like I am one with the road, I've never experienced anything like it. It is an honor and a privilege to live in a country where I can drive such an excellent piece of hardware for such a (relatively) affordable price.

Looks amazing!

I'll admit that you had me reeling for a moment when you said carbon fiber insert. That could reference the Cf dash insert - which I wanted badly but could not get due to restraints. However your interior photo shows suede. I wish Chevy would be a little more exact on their descriptions. I do love your CF hood though. We went oppo taco. I went to red and you went away from it. Love your car man. Now go drive the thing and get back to us on a review!

Going into the winter season is definitely not the best time to trade-in a convertible. Got a grand less than I had hoped for.

Does the '17 ZL1 have a boost gauge somewhere in there? Probably a dumb question but I don't know and a Google search failed me.

If "Yes", a pic?

Yes, there's a boost gauge. It's located on the digital instrument panel.

I had always wondered that myself. Knew it was probably in there somewhere. Is the boost gauge available in other gauge layouts, or is that the only one?

He's probably waiting until it's broken in and he can really punch it. But going from a 5th gen vert to a 6th gen coupe, his power to weight ratio has improved dramatically.
