Out with the old, in with the new...

This evening I traded my '13 ZL1 convertible for a '17 ZL1 coupe.

Color is black mosaic. Options include exposed CF insert, sunroof and PDR.

Here's some pics of my old ZL1 and the new.

Very nice! How's the sunroof? Does it cut into the headroom and is the opening large enough?

The sunroof takes away from the design of the roof.... it is a totally different and flat designed roof when you choose to get the sunroof. I just ordered mine and went without for the only reason that the car looks better without one. Even though I love the function of the sunroof. Congrats on yours. We all have unique taste.

I'm 5'8" so for me there's plenty of headroom. I'm guessing the sunroof opening is roughly the same size as the sunroof on the 5th gen. It seems a little bigger just because the width of 6th gen is slightly smaller.

Very nice. Congratulations!

Question, why did you decide to go coupe vs convertible?

While I absolutely enjoyed driving with the top down, not having all the performance options was frustrating. Plus I'd like to experience a track day and that was never an option with the convertible because of the lack of roll protection.

Had I ordered the car, the sunroof would not have been high on my list of options. I do, however, like the stance of the car with the sunroof open. As you say, we all have our own unique tastes.

Awesome car! Very jealous. I am assuming the 1st thing you do is remove the goddamn dealer sticker off the rear bumper? WTF is up with dealers?

Both of your cars are beautiful. It is so cool we can have these opportunities. Thanks for the pics, too. I like the red color better than the black, put the ZL1 style is awesome.
