The air goes into a cooler....just saying....
I'm sure the capacity of said cooler is enough to lower the intake temp to where it should be, Vortech is not new to the game, they know where they have to be to make power.

Pretty sure they tested IAT's with that filter location and found them to be in line with other systems....FYI

Having a Ysi filter over the headers didn't stop me or others from making over 1kwhp in Gen Vs.

That intercooler is bigger than it looks in the grill, I'll admit.
And of couse more heat comes via the compression of air than via ambient intake temp. Doesn't change the fact that it kinda looks silly, even if it works fine. |
