Are the stats given considered accurate? So an M6 ZL1 is 3.9 and a 1SS A8 is 4.0, that's pretty shitty for the manual drivers, getting beat or tied to a teenager in his dad's year old 1SS while your nailing perfect shifts in a brand new ZL1 worth 25k more...

After I posted, I was thinking the same thing...while I've no doubt the A10 is faster to 60...I don't believe it's .4 seconds faster...especially not if the 6-speed can hit 60 in first gear, alone....

Is there really that much difference? Heck, the stock SS does 4.0 to 60 with almost 200 less HP and torque.

If that's the number...then, consider that the Camaro SS with the A8 pulls to 60 in just 4.0 seconds.....
Yep - I was already leaning towards the A10 and this just pushes me all the more.

something doesn't seem right. Especially with the better rubber, suspension, power down low. The negatives would be the added weight, aero?

IMHO they need to get the MXO out sooner than later or may have some cancelation people tired of waiting 6 months. I have an order filled out waiting for orders to be accepted I plan to wait until late November early December before cancellation. I have a ATS-V which runs 11:80 122mph and will get 30mpg so might keep it until 800hp GT500 with 10 speed auto is available.

Hmm....I can't help but be skeptical, then...until I see a release, or hard numbers from GM....:(

I'm in agreement, seems if the difference on the Vette is only .2 between auto and manual we'd be about the same. I'm betting the A10 will do 60 in 3.3 and the manual in 3.5, both numbers being about 4/10ths off the comparable Vette numbers.

A8 0-60 2.9 sec. M7 0-60 3.1 seconds. I can't feel the difference in 2/10's of A second.

There may very well be issues that no one considered would happen and it's only a few more months but it still "feels" like deflection and no one likes being strung along.

Most that have been following the ZL1 already know that GM has posted a 3.7 0-60 for the M6, but I just wanted to update this thread for everyone else.
