I can't imagine the cost of this setup. I also can't imagine all the other mods you'll need to do to get this power to the pavement. It's almost overkill...

The plumbing of this setup is just horribly over-complicated. Bottom mounts are the way to go. I could see doing a top mount setup for a single but it just doesn't make a lot of sense for twins other than to show them off.

Over-complicated is the key word. Note it says port injection upgrade, so I'm guessing it has duel fuel systems, both direct injection and port injection. Unless they consider removing the more efficient modern direct injection and replacing it with the older port injection systems and calling it an "upgrade". Unfortunately to make this kind of power on a modern engine you have to get pretty complicated... It will be a unique beast when it is done.

And the heat that this set up will produce in the engine bay...

It's running a secondary port injection system to augment the factory DI system. Nothing wrong with this as it's whats needed to get much over the 1k hp mark reliably at this current point in time. It also keeps the off boost drive-ability of a stock vehicle if done correctly.

The heat is a huge issue as well. With the turbo's in the upper engine bay, they will see a lot less air movement than down beside the transmission.

I would be lying to say I didn't have a dog in the fight with my car currently undergoing work as the prototype for On3Performance but that aside, I think they could've found a better solution. It just seems like they wanted them to be top mounted so that everyone could see them.

I know I saw some posts on the On3Performance kit and it looked well executed to me. What are your performance goals for your car? Are you planning on keeping the shortblock stock or are you doing engine work? I would love to drive and data log a dual fuel system on a road course to really test it. I still don't think that is the best but believe me I have been aware of the fuel problems in the LT motors and think it is great that people are finally coming up with some solutions.

Right now, I'm planning on maxing out the stock short block and doing a bunch of different events next year. Once we're done, I'm hoping to pull the engine, do a built, possibly stroked, short block and slowly creep up the power until I'm satisfied, lol.

The whole duel fuel system isn't anything tricky to set up or tune. Anyone that can install a stand alone ECM and tune that would be able to do it and the driveabilty won't be any more difficult than tuning any stand alone. I like the port injection on this car. The hot parts are what looks busy to me.
