How long to build my car?
So I just placed my order at my local dealers which im almost certain is one of the biggest well known dealers in my state and everything saturday October-29th. Well I didnt get any tracking info then and still havent. Its now tuesday and I still havent heard anything back. I dont even know if my order has been submitted yet or not. How long does this entire process take and how soon should I hear something back from my sales guy about updates and whats going on before I start bugging him? How do i track my build? I dont think I can handle this wait and its only been 3 days lol.

I'm a bit of a noob myself, but have read up and down these forums as I prepare to order my Camaro in the upcoming months. From what I hear, it can take anywhere from 5 to 12+ weeks. Some people have had great luck, and others have had... some very long waits.
The general consensus from what I've read around says that if you're dealer is a more seasoned and popular, with good stock, it should have more allocations, and thus more priority on custom orders. Also, you should ask your dealer right now for a copy of the workbench, which has the details of your order, and some useful information. Again, I'm a noob, so I'd reccommend searching through the forums, and hopefully someone more experienced can give you more insight, or link you to more information regarding this. |

OP, if you're not locked into a deal then you should search other markets to see if they have the car you want.
