Very cool, thanks for the heads up! Nice run and video, didn't find any timeslips, wondering what 60' they were cutting - looked like a really good launch. It seems that it would be as crash0117 ran 9.8s at 143 and they went 9.6s @ 139. Gotta be a pretty good 60' to go .2 faster with 4 less MPH on similar cars (I'm assuming both cars are running stock torque converters).

Now that I think about it, N02 cars might have an advantage in 60' area, since they add a fixed amount of O2 regardless of RPM. They would make the most torque at lower speeds and then torque would fall off more with higher RPM when compared with a boosted engine (PD or turbo) which hold a fairly linear increase in O2 across the entire RPM range.

unless they are using a progressive controller

You are correct they have ran 9.63 @138 on slicks. I was with Ryan(RPM) at Draggin Rights and he only ran his 6tg gen once in a grudge race and he ran 9.84.

He cut a 1.41 60 ft. He's running a progressive controller and launches on virtually motor before he really brings the power in.

Also both cars on stock trans and converters.

Is there an orifice in your bypass reference line? Pull the line from the bypass and see if there is a silver or gold restrictor in the bypass connection. Removing it from the bypass might help your launch if you're not at the limit of the tire.
