Hyper blue powder coat wheels

Bought 2016 hyper blue, color gets compliments everywhere I go. Came with split spoke silver wheels, thinking of powder coating graphite color. Any body done a dark grey powder coat on their hyper blue?

^ I am very curious about this myself. I am not too huge on black rims and haven't seen a whole lot of photos of hyper blue vehicles with graphite or dark grey wheels. For that matter, I might be interested in seeing dark bronze. I feel that might look pretty good too.

Congrats on your new car. I am picking up my hyper blue car on Saturday. Pics to follow once I have a chance to detail it. I have a coating kit from Optimum in the mail.

Thanks, enjoy the drive home from the dealer, great feeling!

Yeah, want something different, black was my first choice and looks great but thinking of graphite. Dark bronze is a good looking color on wheels as well.

I'm also considering powder-coating my silver split-spokes, and have a hyper blue vert. Anyone have suggestions on either colors or aftermarket wheel styles for a blue vert? Want to paint my calipers too, but this will be a time/money drain. lol, first-world problems. . .

The vert seems to look better with bigger-spoked rims, but the silver isn't doing it for me. I saw Becky's black chrome split-spokes, yum. .. will be about $750 to do that with my stockers, and a week out of commission, but looks worth it. . .

Personally, my opinion is that hyper blue pops and nightfall gray doesn't, it's dark gray and just blends in. This car I think looks best with more vivid colors.

I know what you mean. My 2010 was cyber Gray. I decided on hyper blue for my 16 but whenever I see NFG, I question if I made the right decision. But then when I see my car, I get a big ol smile on my face.
I'm glad I don't have to decide today. Either color is going to be awesome. good luck

Oh man, this was such a tough choice for me as well, but my last car was "Dark Slate Metallic", which made me incredibly partial to dark metallic greys... It was 50/50 over NFG and HB for me, as well. Same here, when I see NFG I think how great it looks (and photographs so well)... but when I see my car... I'm glad I chose the HyperBlue. That said, NFG would NOT have been a mistake lol.

And, in keeping with the "theme" of the thread, a photo I was able to grab quickly at work the other day.

Was very close to buying Mosaic Black, first test drive of Gen6 was HB. Color popped out at me and you can see every detail in the car. Made up my mind that night of what color I was getting. Go look at both colors in person, just depends on which you prefer, you will be very happy with either choice.
