Duragloss is cheap and as good as most other more expensive products. I get most of my stuff from Autogeek because they have helpful forums and I like all the product reviews both on the forum and the website itself.

What do y'all use for bugs? Every time I drive I have to clean the car. And don't want to wash it every time.

I have several "bug" products. I have PoorBoys Bug Squash, SeaFoam bug remover, Tarminator and others but the best for removing bugs, IMO, is, -and I will probably get flamed for this- FW-1 Cleaning Wax. Sprayable carnauba wax that just flat removes stuck on bug guts for me.

I'll have to try them. I'm trying to find something that is, of course, safe for the paint, but I don't have to scrub them off, and scrub the paint. Even though I'm using MF towels. I usually use the Mothers instant detailer in between washes to keep my cars clean ( although I'm sure there's better products, but just using what I have right now ) and it's. it the best for cleaning bugs.

I use the two bucket method. Actually I use 3 because I have a "wheels only" bucket.

Wash Mitt- I have tried several, the Microfiber Madness Incredimitt is the best one I've found.
Durable, Very safe on clear coat, long fibers gently remove dirt, thick pile underneath them holds dirt away from paint until rinsed.
My soap bucket is always as clean as when I started, no dirt ever gets in it, this mitt releases dirt extremely well when rinsed.

Buckets- I prefer the ones with gamma seal lids, this way no dirt gets in them while stored. If you already have buckets and grit guards, you can find these at Lowes for about $7 each.

Detail Spray- I use Ultima Waterless Wash Plush Concentrate. A 16oz bottle costs around $18 and makes 5.5 gallons of detail spray. I've compared it to many others, and it works as well, if not better then some, of the higher priced ones.

Soap- I buy car shampoo by the gallon, to save money. Optimum Car Wash or Duragloss 902 are best values for quality.

Drying- I have a cordless Black & Decker blower for drying the wheels, doorjambs, side mirrors, front grill, all the places that a towel can't get to. I picked it up for $30. The only downside is the battery only lasts 15 minutes, but works long enough to get all the areas I need.

I always perform a pooling rinse before drying, this removes 80-90% of the water so I have very little left to dry. The best drying towel I've used is the Microfiber Madness Dry Me Crazy.

I use a very hydrophobic sealant, Carpro Reload, which makes the water sheet off very fast, and the towel is only barely damp after completion. I also use Reload on the wheels, makes them easy to clean with just soap and water. I top the Reload with Carpro Hydrofoam occasionally as well.

The washing/drying part is the most important step to keeping your paint looking it's best. If you do this improperly, you will cause scratches and swirls that dull the finish.

If the bugs are fresh and haven't been on the car very long, this is a good process I use from Garry Dean.
I actually don't discard the product in the bucket after use, I have a bucket with a Gamma seal lid, and lots of towels, so I don't put the used towel back in the bucket, I just get a fresh towel. I use Rag company eagle edgeless for the solution, and RC Everest 1100's to dry any remaining solution. Fast, easy, and safe.
