My car was built the 3rd day of 6th gen/2016 production, October 13th 2015. I took delivery on December 22nd, over 2 months in QC/shipping hell!

In the end...trust me that 4200 is the code you want to see, but you'll not breath a sigh of relief until you see 4800, or possibly even 6000 which is delivery of your vehicle.

I don't know if the system is behind now, but back then, it was common that the system was running behind a few days or more. My car went 4200 and then the next day or so it showed up at my dealership. In the end, except for those folks that managed to get OnStar turned on before they took delivery and could actually track their car, nobody really knew exactly where their car was, and no dealership, or representative/customer service person could either.

Damn that was a year ago already! Wow that was a stresful couple of months, but went fast! Lol.
