...It's a normal process of Build Verification:

Batch & hold is a method used by auto manufacturers to ensure the successful launch of new vehicles.
New vehicles are constructed, and then quarantined into batches to be audited.

The vehicles are thoroughly inspected and released to dealers only after all vehicles in a batch have passed inspection.
This helps ensure high quality standards are met for each vehicle produced.
