The grill looks good on the silver! I was actually thinking of doing the red grill to my summit white. Having just the grill, red calipers & the red SS center caps (on black wheels). I'd really be curious to see how the red hood inserts would look on silver or white for contrast.

I wondered too. I went over to the photoshop thread and Chrisvr6 gave us a pretty good idea. I swear someone else had a bit of red showing through their black vents and now I can't find it. Not sure if it was red embellishments in the engine bay that were visible through the vent, or if it was partially painted. I will find it eventually.

You could paint the drain pan part of the hood vents red. That's probably what they had. It's two pieces. Then it would only show through vents.

It doesn't look right as all red. IMO

I agree with you, there's something off about it (with what I have going on with my car.) I might keep my eye out for a used set and experiment with painting that drain pan part and see how it looks.
