Is it my imagination? probably

It seems like I have now gone through the break in period and noticed that the car's (v6 ) regular exhaust sounds like the growl is louder than when I first got the car. Is that possible? Maybe a dumb question but, how do you tell when a performance exhaust is going bad?

Generally mufflers get louder with some mileage as the packing they use beds in. Unless it is rattling, or a weld looks to have cracked, I would just enjoy the extra sound.
