I debated on ordering PDR in the beginning, and passed on it. If I would have just gotten it then I would most likely have a built car now.

Plus, I feel like GM knew about the pending issue and should have contacted dealers sooner.

My salesman at my dealer has been very good with contact and such, so no complaints there.

If I lose my 11/7 TPW, that will really tick me off though...

My order is 4D00 due to "shifter hold for retrofit". Any QC holds for 1le's may not be released until next Wednesday at the earliest. Once off QC hold, it will be shipped.

Contacted my dealer today and my status has moved from 4200 yesterday to 4300 today.

Wonder if the shifter retrofit will kick in now.

GM order fulfillment center says that all 1LE orders that got kicked back to 2000 status will have the PDR automatically added and picked back up by 10/31 and production will resume by 11/1.

If you still don't want it, your dealer will have to cancel the order until it is available again.

My guess is that the short throw is put on after assembly. "retrofit" usually means aftermarket. Not 100% sure though.
