I'm still waiting for my dealer to call and tell me the Kalahari knee bolsters and cargo net have arrived. I don't know what to do if they don't get them or someone got them and threw them away or something

Had one in my 5th gen....It was handy. Now thinking I may have to get one for my 6th gen sometime. I just never thought about it.

Be advised, I got a quote for a pair of splash guards at $87.00 and shipping was $43.00. Can you believe it. There was no way I would spend nearly half of the cost of the part for shipping. Way over priced.

I already bought them, but afraid to install them. I think they look like crap. So I'm going to wait until someone else puts them on so I can look and decide if I will put mine on.

GM Parts Direct is real good, shipping is reasonable and fast. Prices are much lower than MSRP...or if you wait there is always ebay, bought a bunch of GM mats and accessories from them over the years.

I want to set up a strap or two in my trunk to hold a small suitcase-like box from moving around and tipping over as I drive. Toward that end, are the RECEIVING threads in the trunk metal? If so, would put a couple of eye bolts in them and then use some kind of bungee or tie-down straps.

If you're referring to the 4 threads/nuts on the very back of the trunk, yes they're metal welded to the body.
As long as you don't go really crazy with the straps, you'll be fine.
Bungee cords would be a good solution.

Dont waste your money on the OEM net. It's uselessly small.

Better money can be spent on a collapsible cargo organizer or such that you can find on amazon for less money than the stupid net.

Um no. GM must have a little different definition of 'cargo' then most people. To them cargo must be like pencil or a single small screw driver. Thats about all that would fit in their 'cargo' net.

I use an old plastic milk crate to hold the bag of brake parts I got with my SS and a plug in tire inflator. I can put other small items in the crate as well. It keeps everything from being tossed around in the trunk while driving but takes up some room when trying to load big items in the trunk. Guess we aren't supposed to use our Camaros like a truck! I know my 2010 SS had way more room in the trunk compared to my '16!
