How long did it take you guys to get any sort of status? Does it depend on the dealer getting an "allocation"? Can you even have an allocation for an option package..?

Many variables. 1100 is basically meaningless, you want to see at least 2000 to know you're "in". If your dealer has the allocations, and there are no constraints it should only take a few days at most depending on how your dealer updates their orders to move from 1100. If it is sitting and sitting, most likely they do not have the allocation.

The factory doesn't wrap the hood unless that is something that gm just changed. Camaros and even Corvettes have always had the stripes and decals applied after the car is built and not on the assembly line.

4300-Intermediate Delivery just means that the car was moved somewhere. It most likely means that it was moved to where they're going to install the hood wrap or it could mean that it was moved to the holding lot where it will await QC check or shipment. There's a wide variety of possibilities when 4300 is concerned.

Ok so the dealer finally put my order in for a NGM without the PDR. I was told by the rep that so far only the PDR optioned cars are moving along. Also originally I was gonna get it in Silver but changed it today to NGM... so sorry to throw off the poll. There should be only one Silver one on order that we know of.

I got the PDF for the Workbench Order but I can't find an order number other than "TVPC6D"...

Yes, PDR cars are starting to be made now. And there are TPW's for next week as well for them. I am (as of now) in the first non PDR TPW week, which is 11/7.

TVPC6D is all you need, post in Becky's thread and she can keep you updated.

I've been to two dealers and they both have looked at me like I am from space when I ask about the 1LE. Last night the guy tried to sell me a ZL1.....because he thought that was what I was talking about.

So do you guys have awesome dealers or am I not asking the right questions.? I have time, I don't need the car til April, any sooner and it just sits in the garage. Just curious.

Don't mention the 1LE right away to them. Ask them to do a build on their workbench system with you for a 1ss, look through the options and pick out "A1Y" (or A1X for the v6 1le).

When you approach most salespeople and say "1LE" they look at you like you have two heads. My dealer was familiar with the 1LE by name as they had sold a few 5th gen 1LE's
