A hypothetical question!

Just a hypothetical question here. I currently own a 2016 1SS with NPP, black bowties, and black rims with 4100 miles in mint condition. I have however had some problems with the suspension on the car however the issue now seems to be resolved. Paid 34,500 for the car + tax, title, transfer, (MSRP 38,500)

I would wondering what you guys think I could get for the car in terms of dealer trade vs. private offers.

The reason why I ask is b/c the 2016 are so dramatically reduced I wonder if one would lose that much if they purchased a new heavily discounted 2016.

I ask this b/c the fact that I have had to bring my car for repairs 5 different times in the first month left a bad taste in my mouth and a prediction that future trouble may be lurking. I am also potentially considering getting a 2SS. Thanks in advanced.

I couldnt imagine theyd offer you much being they are letting them go so cheap. However, there are lemon laws that allow you to return the car if its been in the shop for repairs so many times in a certain time period. Check your states lemon law

I think the dealership will low ball you on your car. The miles seem a bit high for a 2016. I recommend taking your car to a Carmax or independent dealer and see what they would buy it for. The dealer will always buy it at a below market value. Then there is the negative equity depending how much you owe on it.

4K miles for a MY16 vehicle is actually quite low.

I understand why you may be disappoint with your car, but is there any objective reason to believe that you will have more problems in the future? What was the nature of the suspension problem? Have you had problems with other parts or systems in the car?
