Correct. I list all runs on the Google doc spread sheet and screenshot the top 30 only. So it's all the same amount of work whether it's the top 10 or 30.

Well last time at the track for the year day went well up until I tore a drive shaft out on what was going to be my last pass of the year. Better now than the spring!! Road side assistance off to GM!

Wow, first stock manual in the 11's...good job! The manual times are getting lower and lower as more and more hit the track...

How did you manage to break the driveshaft? What did you dump the clutch at? Guessing you didn't use the launch control "trick" if you tore up a driveshaft as that is much easier on the car lol...

Either way, congrats!

Oh, PS, stock M6 is category 1, not 2...but I'm sure Merc will notice that.

Hey SS 1LE, no i use track mode and feather clutch out to avoid to much wheel spin at 2000-2500 RPM then mash the throttle to the floor. It broke right on staging line as I let clutch out. Im thinking the axles are the weak point for sure. Car was running like a champ yesterday in the low DA, had more than one person make me open the hood to show them it was stock

My service advisor is great! I just called to have it picked up and she said "Steve at the track again? Hope you had some good passes based on breaking it' so I would say yes.

Next time try the launch control "trick". It was discussed a few pages back, and everyone who has tried it has gone quicker and been more consistent. It also is easier on the car...can't hurt to try. And it's better then axle replacement lol...

Bone-Stock on Stock Tires. This means completely stock with no performance changes whatsoever; must have stock tires, stock exhaust, stock airpath, stock “untuned” computer (ECU/PCM), etc.

He doesn't have a drag radial, slick or anything like that...he has a different set of street tires on it. What if some day the tires were discontinued? That means that everyone who swapped to a different street tire is now considered "modified"? That would be beyond lame...right?

If that doesn't qualify as "stock" it's pretty ridiculous. On all the other fast lists, it would be considered stock. Heck, the S197 fast list allows stock cars to even have wider tires, as long as they are still street tires....
