Plus a flatter surface area and scratch the paint where the washer would sit.

All I did was a sub-box. So I didn't need 5 channels separate. But anyway I just used 2 quality RCA cables cut of one end and tinned them and soldered on 4 really small wood staples too push into the back side of the Bose connectors for my signal. No splicing needed nice and clean. I have a 2lt so the wiring is different then a 2SS. The 2lt with the premium Bose system has 2 sub outtputs , so I wired to those and sounds grea. No problems cranking it as loud as it can go.

Where are you running the amp remote wire to? I currently have it to the wireless charging fuse but would like to change it to somewhere that stays on with the radio. Currently if I turn off the car I can turn on the radio but the amp remains off.

Wow, there are some serious audiophiles here. Not busting balls, find it kinda impressive that some people can actually hear this shit. You all are artist in your own way. I can't draw a stickman, can't hear anything wrong with my stereo system either. Not my strengths.
