Black SS black lights side by side

I have an issue with visualizing stuff so here is a side by side pic of the before and after of changing all the lights to black.
GM lights, phasteck black out kit, I painted the SS badge.
Black license plates on their way.

Those are the GM lights and phasteck black out kit.

I'm confused how you used the blackout kit for your rear lights. Is the blackout kit just a bunch of tint that you put in however you want? I'm asking because you tinted the red it seems and the kit shows the reverse lights being tinted.

I used the kit for the markers, third break light etc. The tail lamps are the GM part.

Here ya go. Scroll down the page because there are a lot of options. I know you already have some stuff tinted but there are combination kits with various configurations. Or, most tints are available separately. Good stuff.

Love the gm tail lights but they look a little to clear and not too dark.

You're welcome. My thoughts exactly. Didn't like the white lens. I actually had the tint before the lights arrived. Much easier to put it on when the taillights are not on the car.

I was just going to post and ask about this. I want to do it as well.

This wont cause any problems with the law?

Is that the darkest tint option in the pics?
