Be happy to do that. I'm waiting on my ZL1 mag pad to come in, then I'll install it. When I changed the oil, I jacked the car up incorrectly. Thank goodness I didn't do any damage.

They're not building them in Germany for sure, rather for Germany ... in contrast to the US, where (from what I know) you usually just pick one that's available on the showroom floor, and very rarely order them custom built, Germany normally always does custom orders (the dealers do have cars available, but most likely no special vehicles like the 50th ... and not very official dealers around, anyway ... what usually happens is they get their allotments, pre-order some cars, and then modify them once a customer wants one ...

Anyway, from other folks' experience, the order might be moved up by as much as 3 months or so ... should get my order confirmation some time soon, then hopefully with a earlier build date ... also, I wouldn't want it to show up in the middle of winter I'm not exactly in a Florida climate here, so March or April would be fine ...

Wasn't aware they weren't built over there. That's interesting on how they are sold/ordered for Germany. I custom ordered mine (see signature for timeline).

And yeah Germany isn't Florida like that's for sure. Hopefully it gets moved up but also gets delivered in time when you can enjoy it.

What options did you order for yours?

From ZL1 addons, check them out if you haven't already. Lethal hammer has a video or 2 on them. I always jacked the ATS up on the aluminum section with the 2 big holes using a square piece of 3/4 plywood. Without any damage, I was ignorant to the real jack points.

So I done the camaro the same way, in hindsight, I'll not do that again.

Just about the only "option" you can order in Germany (apart from selecting either AT/MT - went for MT) is the sun roof, apart from that there's only the top end option ... so, essentially 50th 2SS with everything ...

Good Day all, this may have been asked in the past, but I did a search on the weekend and couldn't find a definitive answer.....

Are the Fifty Anniversary car a "limited build" or are they going to keep production as long as there are new orders??

I ask, as my dealer has expressed that the cars will have a limit of "400", which I'm fairly certain is not true as I'm quite sure there are a few thousand built already...

I'm seriously looking at one currently and selling my '11 SS Convertible, but am curious on the builds of these cars as I may wait until spring to order one.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!!

My dealer told me the Fifty package can be ordered anytime but if they run out of certain materials like stripes or trims, etc, that it could be discontinued anytime. Having ordered a 2015 sierra last year and then told a certain color was no longer available, I believe its true. So, many could be built or even no more. Hard to say.
