That's exactly what should happen. These events always attract these types of dummies. No parents should be taking their kids to knowingly stand on the sidelines where they can become casualties.

These events need to be better organized, and if the businesses allow these events to grow out of control in their parking lots, should be liable too.

Drivers need to stop pandering to the crowds (ease up on throttle)and spectators need to always stay back 6 ft from curb or they may end up 6 ft under.
