Have you tried the launch control trick some are using now? The top two fast list guys used it from what I read, and my buddy has claimed to pick up a tenth by doing it. Basically you use launch control, floor the throttle and let the car hold the rpm (I think it's 4000ish), but instead of dumping the clutch and letting the launch control pull some timing to keep wheel spin in check you let the clutch up slower. This way there is no throttle modulation needed. Are you using no lift shift? |

Have we actually confirmed SS's have no lift shifting? I was under the impression that no lift shifting was a part of the Performance Traction Managment system that is only going to be on the SS 1LE and ZL1

Yes, a few members have tried it, and a tuner said the software in enabled. So it should work under WOT on all '16 and up SS's. Not sure if it needs to be in certain driver modes though...

Still not sure if it is there on the CA6 SS though.I did try launch control a couple of times and I didn't let go of the clutch. I will try again. Thanks for the tip. If I picked up a tenth stock I would have run a 12.30ish! in not so great air. Darn. I'm bolt on now. That could be the launch consistancy I have been looking for.

So are you saying that the 16 SS M6 does not have a clutch bleeder? I was under my car last night looking for what I've seen in the Gen 5 cars and those lines are not even there. The tr6060 bell housing has NO holes on the side like the Gen 5 cars. How in the heck can I bleed this clutch?
The reason I ask is that I did a Motul 660 flush/fill and would like to bleed the clutch also. thanks, Phil
