Crossboarderpickups.ca

Anyone use this company?
Buy stuff and pick it up in Mississauga.
Save driving across the border ,just pay a few bucks per item.

Any thoughts.

What do they do about the taxes? I've been doing intense cross border shopping for the last five years and I've only been taxed 3 times.

They process the product and pay the taxes and duties. You pay them back when you pick it up. Plus their service fee for the package basedvon size and weight.

Interesting! I've used "US Address" in Niagara Falls, NY in the past. I still had to drive there and pick the items up. It's been useful, when buying tires/wheels (especially since a lot of tire suppliers won't ship from the US to Canada).

Anyhow back to the topic, I will check them out, as it seems like a good alternative for future US-based purchases.

Sabio, thanks for posting!

Not all that different from having a PO box in the US.

True, but for me, it wasn't worth it to pay for a full-time US Box.
Also, I bought wheels/tires, so a box wouldn't' have worked for me.....

I do like the idea of this place though.....
I love supporting "local" businesses, but.....

Example: Mishimoto Catch Can

- Phastek: $195. US ($253 @ 30% exchange....)
- JRP in Miss: $345. + HST ($389)

That's $140. that stays in my pocket....

Ok ok. I messed up the spelling.
I like the pick up option. Saves the drive, the gas and the border hassle.
They charge 15.99 + gst for 19-20" tires.
Find a nice clearance deal at Tire Rack for example and you could save a couple hundred

I have used them several times.. zero issues. They are two streets down from my work so pickup is a snap. You get updates when the parcel is signed for in the US and again when it arrives.

Tires arrived Sunday. All processed today. Pick up should be on a day or 2.
Emails notices when they recieved them and after they processed them.
Website really good to navigate and simple.
Just waiting for the email to say come pick them up.

This service was stupid easy to use. I will use it again.
Fee for processing and bringing the 4 tires to mississauga is $72. Saves me about 6 hours driving, crossing the border $40 in gas and dealing with customs.
(BFG comp2 A/S - Free, won @ Track event)
2 thumbs up so far.

Picked up my BFG Comp 2 A/S tires today.
Walked in, paid my Fee, $67.80. Threw the tires in the back of the minivan and went home.

So simple. I highly recommend this company.

Paid $140 to get them installed.
Thank you BFG for the Free Tires. Paid $40 to buy 4 raffle tickets and won $1000 in rubber. Cool.

Thanks for the reassurance. I just ordered an exhaust direct from Borla via ebay, since they wont ship to canada i chose this company as it had good feedback.
