ATS V 6 piston calipers

Hey guys, I've been kicking around the idea of putting 6 pistons on the front of my SS. Since the ats and camaro share the same chassis would it be a direct bolt on for me to just buy the calipers and rotors? Or is there something else I'm over looking here?

i would assume that they could fit but at the same time most likely not. just because its the same chassis does not mean that they have the same suspension. so it is possible they used the same steering knuckle but i wouldn't bank on it.

Not sure about the actual fitment, but I'm pretty sure those are the calipers and rotors used on the SS 1LE

You'd think they'd be the same size. Someone has posted about the ATS 4 piston calipers being the same ones on the camaroSS. So you'd figure the 6 pistons to be the same as well.

Yes, and I believe the CTS-V calipers and rotors fit (same calipers and CTS uses the same bolt pattern as the Camaro).

I would get CTS/ATS V calipers and aftermarket floating (two piece) rotors in 370x34mm

The ATS Rotors are 5 x 115
The ATS V are 5 x 120

OP I don't believe the Caddy calipers/rotors are going to be less expensive than online retail for the Chevy kit.

The ATS V 6 piston calipers are the exact same as the last gen CTS V 6 piston calipers, the current Gen Camaro GM accessories 6 piston calipers, and the 6 piston calipers off the Z07.
Where your issue will arise is with the rotor. There are currently no replacement (aftermarket) rotors for the ATS V, which uses the same rotor as the one in the 6 piston Camaro SS GM accessories package.
The rotors for the different models and applications above have different offsets. If you get it wrong, the caliper won't even be able to mount to the knuckle before hitting, (or pads sticking) to the rotor. I am talking about the caliper offset, not the knuckle.
Another issue is with the mounting pad size on the rotors. The new Camaros (and ATS V's) have a thicker pad than the rotors from the old gen ZL1 and CTS V.
That means your only option is to go with the GM 2 piece rotor. Those can be found on Amazon for $810 before tax. That's as cheap as they will get.
Overall, if you buy all the parts off Amazon, you are looking at $810 for rotors, and $600-$650 for calipers, depending on if you want to get fancy and do the 6 piston vented piston calipers off the Z07 or not.
