Does this price sound good?

Looking to place my order for a 2017 Camaro 2SS 6spd in the next few days. Options are grey wheels, nav, dual mode exhaust and magnetic suspension. Car will be factory ordered.

Still finalizing the deal but I think I can get $56K out the door. This includes taxes, all fees and also include a tax savings of $2080 for a 16K trade (They are giving me the trade value in cash, and still giving me the savings)

Does this sound like a good deal? I know I could get a better deal on an in stock 16, but my preference is to get a factory ordered 17.

$56K Canadian is around $42 USD. $42K USD out the door sounds pretty good to me. That's what I payed for mine before taxes and fees.

Thanks for the feedback. I have the option to try and sell my current car while my new car is being made, but if I do so I would lose the tax savings so my price would go up to about $58K OTD. Of course I would only sell it if I could get more than 18K privately.

I got my 2SS with the same options including the sun roof and expel protection for $50k this April. I was lucky as I found one exactly as I would of configured it if I ordered one. Even better deals on the 2016s now.

Since the 2017s haven't went up very much, I think you should be able to get a better deal. Maybe not on an ordered car?

Regardless, awesome ride which will place a permanent grim on your face.

Was that including taxes?

No, only GST in Alberta.

What did you save off MSRP, though? That's what you want to focus on. You should be able to get at least $4K off.

4k off a 2017... what about the 2016s? What is the most to expect off these? I know the 20% off in the US many people seem to be posting about, but what is realistic in canada? Was it 16% recently? The website seemed to say 16%, but it was poorly written, and seemed 10% was what most were going with (some just listed at msrp with no discounts).

With zero haggling, you'll be typically in the $6-7K off range. It will vary depending on trim/options obviously, but you should save no less than that.

MSRP for 2017 1SS ... $43,200

Invoice Price .... $40,010

8% off MSRP

Options are a 36% mark up from their invoice cost.
